W111 Coupè carpet

Hello Everybody,
I'm restoring my grandad's 220SEb Coupè and I'm stuck with the choice of the carpet set.
The car is Arabian Grey DB124 with black leather interior.
The current carpet is light grey velour but I suspect is a lot different from the original one.
I contacted KHM Kraftfahrzeugtechnik KHM Cabrio-Verdecke Klaus Hermann Mayer , they have a lot of types and colors but I'm unsure which one wasused in origin, can you please help?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Marco

Hi, the color code for your interior is on the data card, which you can also get from the Classic Center if you don't have it for the car. From there, you can search for the color among "German square weave" carpet, which be forewarned isn't exactly soft which may explain why it was changed out to the cheaper stuff later. I run a group dedicated to your car, the SE Coupes, have a look at the links in my signature and come on over! We love to chat coupes.

Thanks a lot Marrs,
I already have the data card, but the only code that I could find is a "G" on the right bottom part of the datacard...
I suspected it was a squareweave similar to Pagoda's but I needed confirmation.
Later I'll post some pics of the car that I took while dismantling the interior...
Thanks again,
Marco

The "G" probably isn't relating to your interior color. At the very top should be the word "Ausstattung" and in my case the number is 214.
The first digit is type; 0= cloth, 1=MB Tex, 2=leather.
Use the Pagoda website and see if the number matches what you have found already: Pagoda SL Group Technical Manual :: DataCard / UpholsteryCodes

In my case you will see that #214 shows the seat leather color as "rust red 1099" and the carpet color as "rust red 6508" as a guide.

Not all colors carried over between the W113 to the W111 but many did. Let me know if you run into any problems.

I already had found that interior color is 201 leather black, so it's correct.
I'll see on Pagoda group if I can find the suggested color for the carpets.
BTW I joined you FB group, really like it!
Cheers,

Marco
