Tool Roll & Tools for 280SL

Hi Guys,
I need a little help,
In putting a "reasonable" price on a Tool roll and some old Tools for a 280SL that I have had for years stashed away in my spares locker They are all MB marked tools and several are from the time where there was a both a West and East Germany. I would like to offer them on the MB listing but I don't want to to rip anyone off, and at the same time I do not want to give them away. I'd also like to utilize the proceeds for a current project. Bottom line:, where do I go to determine a fair-market price for them? They include: A good cloth Roll with tie-strings; The Towing ring, which looks pristine, The Spark-plug wrench with the tommy-Bar, and good rubber insert; a black Handle Screw-driver with reversible ends, Phillips and Slotted; and four-open-end Wrenches; 8 x 10, 11 & 13, 14 & 17 and 17 & 19. I'm asking for pointers, and advice. Not selling them here. My motoring interests have moved across-town to that other factory on the north edge of town, so don't beat on me too hard.
Thanks, from an Old Rakasan.

Try trolling Flea Bay and see what others are selling them at. Or, see what they sell for new and make your deductions from there. It's hit or miss. There was a guy on Flea Bay trying to sell a particular tool for $40 bucks and claimed it was rare ... blah blah blah. A little surfing on the net and one could buy it new from a company for $37.00. I recently sold a hub puller (for older American makes) Snap-On for $50.00 but something similar thru Snap-On was $490-ish new. So, it's a grab bag.

The canvas cloth roll with tie strings isn't Pagoda. It's later, and the canvas roll itself really isn't worth much. I have probably 10 of them ranging from good to bad condition. If it's a MB-tek tool roll then it is pagoda-specific I think

Actually the pontons in the 50's had the canvas cloth bags with the tie straps.

You are correct. The OP might best best off posting a picture of what he has.
