ISO 1965 190D head

I'm still on the hunt for a head that's not cracked.

My motor number is 621-912-10-170293

Let's get this thing back on the road! Perhaps I'm better off looking for a running motor?

Totally striking out on finding a head for this old 190D. What other motors will fit in this car?

Could that engine number be a 621.912? I cannot find a listing for 621.921 during those years.

By the way... 621 912 should be the engine number. The 10 means left hand drive, standard transmission, and the rest of the numbers are sequence numbers.

You're probably correct, I'll double-check it tonight. It looks like I've found an entire replacement motor (running) but I'd still like to get a replacement head if at all possible, it's just not as pressing an issue.

motor swap should be a good, simple remedy. Save the old one and put it back when you can. -CTH

Yes, I sold Dr Cherry a running motor yesterday and delivered it.

Sold another car of mine to someone else in Flint MI.

Now I have time and room to work on the 170D and the 1952 220

Not to mention the Borgward and the Hispano Suiza. They will come later. Need more documentation.
