w108 fuel tank vent in trunk
So the fuel compensation tank in the trunk got unplugged.
I know the larger hose (as you look at the unit, the tube far right) fits to the body to vent outside. Its the other smaller two I am wondering about... Which one plugs to the tank fuel filter and which to the tank neck? Actually both go to the filler neck but the plug closer to the tank extends down into the tank to the filter. Please help!

See if this helps. There were a couple of different versions.

Close. The one I have looks like this... (not the grommet but #35)
http://www.niemoeller.de/w108-en/B015-39-D-47-101-grommet--vent-pipes-through-body-.html From what I can tell in this image, the tube on the far left should go to the lower inlet on the neck. Can one of you with a set up like this trace down the connections for me? Thanks!

On mine, where the compensation tank is at the right rear of the trunk, the lower hose on the filler neck (the one that has a tube that goes toward the front of the tank) connects to the rear connection of the compensation tank.

So here is a pic of mine. Left line goes to upper fitting on filler. Center goes to lower fitting on filler. Right goes outside (overflow).
