Need help with hard accelerator
Hi guys,
The accelerator pedal on my 72 W108 is very hard to press. I looked behind it (see pic below) and the spring/rod seem to be well lubricated. Any other places I should check? Thanks Jose

Make sure the connections on the other side of the pedal in the engine compartment are also lubricated.
Make sure you're not missing a spring. Make sure you haven't got something stuck under the pedal (your picture hasn't loaded yet)

Hard to see with all the grease but there should be a white bushing in there, if memory serves me correctly, that appears to be missing on your setup.
Also, like Stretch said, make sure your under-hood linkage is lubed up - from the bits on the firewall to the ones on the intake manifold.
