I liked that Jay gave restorer Karl M. full credit and showcased his ingenuity, rather than presenting it as a shiny new item that has joined his collection of other shiny items.
I liked that supercharger + methanol/ water injection on a m-100 motor.

This is what can be done when money is no object....on the part of Mercedes in the first place and Jay Leno in the second place. I've always liked the fact that Jay sometimes discreetly modifies his cars "to taste". Unfortunately these cars were (and still are) beyond the reach of most Mercedes enthusiasts. On some level I suppose that exclusivity is as it should be.

That is one magnificent machine!
It's nice to see Jay own one. He seems to be one of the very few people who can afford one and really appreciate he engineering that went into the vehicle, the craftsmanship of the technicians who built it, and the utter competence of Karl's work. What a great video. Thanks for sharing it. Dave

What a machine. The infamous 100, a must have for any dictator.
What's the deal with that methanol/water hook up in his trunk? What was he on about when he said it made engine run better?
