Ignition/Steering lock removal on 68 W110?

Ok, I've been poking at this ignition for a while, and I'm having trouble seeing how it comes out. Does anyone have a procedure for this? I've removed all the large screws from the underside of the dash, and it is loose, but that's as far as I've gotten.

Any help is appreciated!

Yes. Remove the cluster. On the lower right you will see a nut that you need to remove. Then it comes out. At least this is the case for a 65 W112...

I just pulled mine last week. First, remove the cluster to gain access to the lock and connector. Disconnect the ignition switch connector. Loosen the 10mm clamp for the switch. Put the key in the ignition and switch to the 1 position. This will now allow you to depress the pin to pull the entire unit out of the column. You may also have to remove the black plastic trim ring on the dash. Be careful or you will damage your wood.

Good luck :-D

Thanks for the advice! Only issues is I dont have a key to depress the pin... I'll go take apart the cluster now.
