w111 rear brakes
Hi all,
Can somebody help me identify the rear callipers for a w111 3.5 coupe please? I need some, and I imagine they are shared by other models, if so I'd like to know which ones so that I can get hold of some. Either part numbers or other pointers would be really helpful, thanks. Dave |

They are shared by the 280SE 4.5 and possibly 6 cyl 108's

Hi Dave,
Mercedes Benz has an Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) that can be used to look up a part number. The part number can be plugged into the EPC and it will say which other models use that part number. I have a W111 sedan that needed rear brake shoes. I was quoted $250 per shoe with four required for rear drum brakes. I used a brake shoe re-lining service at $17.50 each. It is a tradition here on the forum to start a thread introducing yourself, post a picture of your car, tell us what made you go crazy and love a Mercedes? Best of luck! Jeffrey
