Blower motor checklist...72 250 w114

Heater doesn't work in my 72 250 (although a/c works fine). Any ideas where too look from simplist to blower motor (hardest):

I'd look at the changeover switch above the accelerator pedal to make sure it's cycling properly from cooling to heating mode--good luck
