'75 240D Heat hose?

Hey guys...

Would anyone happen to have a picture of what the heater hose that comes off the center/driver side of the cylinder head is supposed to look like and where its supposed to go?

Mine is currently a collaboration of pipe fittings and random pieces of hose. It goes from the head to the heater control valve on the firewall.

A picture would be great.

Thanks guys!
-Chris

Does this video help?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8nnys0X6Io

I just used a google image search and looked for: w115 engine. If I understand which hose you are asking about, other than the fittings, it sounds likes yours starts and stops in the correct places.

It looks to be plumbed correctly based on the video... but the hose itself is wrong.

Any close-ups of the connection at the head? Is it just a barb at the head?

Thanks bud

I don't have any pics. On my 220d, it is just a male hose fitting like a radiator might have, but smaller diameter. It is not a sharp barb, so I am not sure if that word still applies (please excuse my ignorance). That part on my engine is partially rusted away, but still functions acceptably.
