i can only find crap URO motor mounts!! HELP w108 280se 4.5

does anyone know where to get quality motor mounts for my 72 280se 4.5. everywhere i look i can only find URO brand.

If the dealership has them i'm sure i'm going to fork out some dough. So i'm hoping someone out here knows of a source for good quality motor mounts.

Cheers

That P/N comes up on PeachParts here, Genuine MB special order for $136.00. That being said, the mount does not come up on a general search for the 108 4.5, so if the dealer comes back with that part number you should be good.

I found it via a Mercedes "expert" in Holland who is usually reliable. But it did seem strange to me that it was labeled as for all V8s - which is why I said to use with caution...

Well, to be fair, that'd be accurate; the 3.5, 4.5 and 6.3 all used the same mounts. So if the P/N is right, it would be right for all.

i'm hoping that changing the engine mounts and sub-frame mounts will fix my freeway noise issue. at freeway speed there is a substantial drone. its not vibrating harshly. but the noise is making its way in the cabin and is a bit loud.
