1967 W108 250S Cloth Interior

My 1967 250S is in need of a new interior, as someone in the 1980's decided to recover the seats with some ghastly aftermarket blue Vinyl. From the factory, my car had a cloth interior code 003, which calls for grey cloth seats with blue vinyl side bolsters and door panels "Flecked with grey".

My question is this: does anyone have pictures of a W108 sedan with a cloth interior, regardless of color? My car is a grey-market import, and few, if any W108s stateside had cloth. And it's an early (pre-1968) W108, so it shares many interior appointments with the W111, but I'm unsure if that applies to the seat material or not.

Thanks in advance!

Cloth Seats

Hi Klaus,

I found an image of W108 cloth seats. Google pulled up a post by someone saying Code 003 was a brownish carpet matching seats and called Brazil.

This image comes from a posting here on Peach Parts

Hope this helps by pointing you in the right direction...

Here are a couple of pics of my 67 250SE. This is the original blue cloth with I assume the MB tex trim.

Try Kraftfahrzeugtechnik KHM Cabrio-Verdecke Klaus Hermann Mayer

They have carpet and door panels and leather seat material... MB didn't make cloth for convertibles. But these guys may know where to find cloth.
