I was coming up with a method to machine the holes but have not got to it yet. I would really like to see some alu block heads on a 4.5.

Ahhh. I didn't think about the chain tensioner rail. I'm aware of the cam tower bolts but I haven't had them apart to look at it to figure out exactly what needs to be done. Bummer I wouldn't gain compression. Probably makes more sense to just throw the cams in my heads if they are indeed 45cc Chambers. The cams are identical to the 5.0. As far as the head bolts I envisioned loping the top of an iron block off and decking the bottom. Then align the bolt holes with the mill. Then drill what needs to be out of the cam towers and mill the top 90° to the bolt. I was really hoping for the bigger exhaust port like a 86^ 5.0 or 5.6 with the slightly offset bolt pattern. Womp womp womp.... Same as a iron block symetrical port and gasket. I'll have to see if there is room on these castings to open it up to 5.6 size. I think that the exhaust side is a big cork. Ugh. I wish I just had some k jet 3.5 heads to slap on for some compression with no BS.
