Hey guys
I was wondering if you guys could tell me where these brown wires hook up, I'm pretty sure they are ground wires but can't find where they bolt on too. I have the work shop manual but having difficulties getting it to run on my computer. So if you guys might know where they hook up I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank You

Hi Adrian,

Welcome to Peach Parts!

Someone here can snap a picture of the ground connection location of those wires. I will have a look at mine but it may not be today. If I was home I would do it now.

Thanks Jeffery I'd appreciate that I ended up working on some other things so didn't find where those went yet, so when you get a chance I could use a pic of its location.

I should be at the garage working on my car tomorrow.

I think the correct answer would be anywhere on the body that you could get a good ground.

Take apart any Mercedes from the early 70's and in the trunk, on the left hand side, you will find a large grouping of brown (i.e., ground) wires bolted into the floor of the trunk.

I am sure there is a correct place if you are wanting to be 'correct', but if you are just needing the wires to ground then anyplace on the body will do.

Yah that's what I was going to end up doing. I found the spot though right under where the choke wire connects
