75 280S Transmission Fluid

Hello all, thank you all for being so helpful..Had a quick question..Gonna change transmission fluid on my car..was wondering what type of I read somewhere that these old Mercedes dont like that fluid..dont know if theres any truth to that fluid this car is supposed to take..Also if this car takes Dexron, is it acceptable to use the Dexron VI Synthetic? I read on another forum that these old Benz's dont like the synthetic stuff..dont know if I believe that or not...
