Silver peel coat alloy rims!
Hi Everyone,
Thought I'd share a really cool way to get your alloys looking brand new: Rustoleum Peel Coat Silver (see attached; 4 rims are before, the rest of pics show after). What I love is that if it didn't come out right, it is totally removable (no risk). It came out perfect (no runs, drips, inconsistencies, etc..) Jub

Another Option
Your re-coat looks great, however, if you would like to have done with forever the peeling of the silver stuff, it can be removed and after the wheels can be polished to the point of looking similar to chrome. They will hold the shine for years as long as you clean them occasionally. I had mine done about 10 years ago and they still look good - and no peeling to ever worry about.

After a polishing like that they can also be powder coated clear.
Not cheap but it will look nice for many years. |
