1969 Coupe sunroof close
 

I have a 1969 w111 with an electric sunroof. I am having a problem closing the electric roof.


I know on the 108/109 sedan there is a place to manually close the roof. It is located on the drivers side in the trunk. I also have the special tool to do it.


Is there a location on the coupe to do this? I have nothing in the trunk?

Interesting you would ask-I just did this on my coupe yesterday. I needed to close the sunroof so I could store it. I has been sitting and the motor would not run-even when directly connected to a battery. I found the tool clipped onto the side of the motor, inserted the screwdriver looking end into the receptical and turned it with a socket.

On my 108 it is on the passenge rside in the trunk, in front of the spare tire.
