W123 Parts Search
I am looking for the plastic (maybe hardened rubber after 40 years) grommets that go around the end of the windshield wiper shafts just below where the wiper arms mount on the splines. Appearantly MBZ doesnīt make them anymore.
Also possibly needed is the rubber strip that mounts on the polished aluminium drip rails of the rain gutters. These evasive parts are for an early W123. Any info is greatly appreciated.

The bit around the windscreen wiper shafts are indeed very difficult to find. I haven't managed to find them (yet)
The rubber trim around the roof gutters is very very very expensive and was available last time I looked - dealership part.

seals
You wont find the seals for the W123 . But you can use the window wiper seals for the W126 chassis more or less the same .See picture . And a visit to youtube will tell you the same . On youtube videos put in the box -- W116 W123 And W126 Chassis Wiper Drive Mechenisim Failure
Just that and read it up..Hope it helps .If you have not seen Kents videos before he has a few mercedes w123s Last edited by optimusprime; 05-13-2017 at 06:49 AM. |

As far as the the rubber on the drip rails, I may not even replace it. On the older w123s itīs only about 1/2 " high and the bare polished aluminium doesnīt look bad. Of course I would have to grind down slightly the part on the bottom of the back aluminium piece. I think Stretch is right, the rubber part is bloody expensive.
