Exclamation Aux fan issues

I'm trying to track down why my aux fan is not coming on. I have tested the 212 switch and I can hear the switch clicking. I have tested the continuity of the wires running from the fuses to fan and they are both good. I have given the fan 12volts independantly and it works.

I'm not really sure where the switch for the fan is.. I'm assuming that there is a break in the line somewhere between the switch and the fuses.

Any ideas?

Re: Aux fan issues

I have no wired the fan so that I can turn it on anytime I want. However it doesn't do much to keep the temp at 175 so there much be some other problem???

I'm pretty sure at this point that the reason why it wasn't working is because the wiring for the AC compressor was dissconnected and the ground lead to it may need to be grounded.(I'll test it later)

I tested it and it doesn't matter wether or not the ground lead to the AC compressor is grounded or not or I'm still trying to find the break int he lines to the electric fan????

Have you checked the relay? Had the same problem, had replaced the relay and the fan now works perfectly.
