The way I did my last one:
I took a picture of front license plate-less car.
I emailed to myself.
Opened up my email and downloaded it to my computer.
I opened up a new post .
Next to the white smiley face on the very top of your board there's a manage attachment icon.
I clicked on that and chose a file.
In my case the picture was in my downloads and I uploaded it.

That, ^^^^ is how I have to do it too. Real hassle too, as contrasted with other websites.

I upload my photos to Photobucket. Once on that site, you have three options for posting the image.

Direct

HTML

IMG

The "IMG" option is the one that works for this website. Simply copy and paste that file into your post and the photo will appear.

I am sure other photo hosting sites have similar options.

Yeah, for example, https://imgur.com/ is easy and free as well, for that type of stuff.

Hello Fredd - it's likely that the file is too big or incorrect format. What format is the photo in?

Most smartphones make images too large to attach directly on the forum, so you need to use a third party image host to hold the files and link to them.

What type of phone (Android or iPhone)? Someone who has that device type can probably help you.

It's an Android. Is it like a any digital camera ?

I transferred the photos to my laptop.

Isn't there a way to adjust or set up the photo before I take it of after it gets to my laptop ?

Ok Tomguy, I think I got it figured out. I just resized the photo in my file manager.

So what are the largest dimensions and file size what can be posted ?
