M110 Valve Cover Gasket
Is there an alternative to the Victor Reinz valve cover gasket for the M110 engine? Years ago there was another brand, but it was so long ago I can't remember the name. It was supposed to be a better gasket.

Nothing special on the valve cover gasket. The actual gasket is simply a flat sheet outline. The "cut outs" around the spark plugs are rubber/neoprene cups. Over tightening the cover is the usual culprit causing leakage.
A slight seepage of oil seems to be the norm for the M110 engine. I'm not talking dripping but a smudge along the junction with the cam tower housing.

When I was a kid, we used to make them out of brown paper bags. Not for every use but for some things.
