R107 pressure sensor 0280100012

Hi. Can anyone tell how it work and what depends on this mechanism?
The car has 3.5 m116 engine. At first the fuel mixture was very rich. I found that air and collant sensors were damaged. So i changed them. Now, after 10-20 min of running engine the spark plugs make side sparking. And they are black.
I don't know what to do except turn a bit that plastic screw on computer.
Then i disassembeled this pressure sensor 0280100012 and found more rust than parts in it.
Does it regulate mixture? Can i expect better air fuel ratio?

That manifold pressure sensor is the main sensor of engine load, and is the principal source of information used to control A/F ratio. The screw on the ECU affects mixture only when the throttle is closed, and the engine idling.

Thank you.
There appeard another problem. I got another sensor and now the engine started pulsating very much. To 1500 rpm and more.
That air thermostat doest shut completely and the engine reached 80c. Main air valve is closed when idle, but when I put my arm on the hole, it sucks pritty strong.
What can be wrong? Or just too much air from there or there?
