When I click on my attachment paper clip nothing happens.

Anybody else having this issue. I am trying to post a pic.

You should get a box that says "Manage Attachments." If you do not, then maybe you are logged in as a Guest. Look at the bottom and see if it says that you are allowed to post attachments.

I am logged in as Tomas7 and yes, it says I may post attachments on the bottom left box. The box does not appear when I click on the paper clip.

Instead of using the "Quick Reply", click on "Go Advanced". Scroll down under where you type your message and click on the button that says "Manage Attachments". It'll open a popup window that will allow you to upload whatever you want within the limits of the forum software.

If it still doesn't work, you likely have Javascript disabled, or a popup blocker installed that's blocking the ability of the software to generate that window.

I am clicking on the "Post New Topic" button on the upper left side. It always worked before, it only stopped recently.

I just did it and it worked fine for me? The "New Topic" window is just the advanced editor. Try the same thing I suggested above with scrolling down and hitting the "manage attachments" button. If it still doesn't work, try a different web browser and see if you still have the same problem.

Not exactly the same since "New Topic" begins a new thread while "Quick Reply" allows additions to the existing thread. By clicking "Go Advanced" following "Quick Reply." one is able to access "Manage Attachments" and post photographs. I'm wondering if the OP is trying to attach a photograph that is too large for this site.

The window that shows up when clicking "New Topic" is the same window that shows up when clicking "Go Advanced". It's just where the entry gets posted that's different. "New Topic" will post into a new thread, "Go Advanced" will append the reply to the current thread.

Isn't that exactly what I wrote? Are you just trying to raise your post count?

No, you're saying they're not the same thing. Go back and read your reply. They're exactly the same window. It's once you click the "post" button that things change. My point was that clicking "Go Advanced" or "Post New Topic" bring up exactly the same window and pressing the button at the bottom instead of the paperclip should launch the attachment window, which is the same for both functions.

If the posts wind up in different threads they are hardly the "same thing." Congratulations on another post for your account. 3,000+ in less than two years certainly says something.

You keep on worrying about that post count. I hadn't noticed it reached 3K until you said something about it. I was trying to help the OP, you seem worried about who said what. Congratulations!
