Help me find the ratio of this W116 Differential

Hi all,
Could somebody brainy please look at these two pics, tell me what the differential ratio is? I beieve this is a w116 diff.

CD:

Clean off the lower corners of the machined back face of the main casting (not the cover).
The ratio, and the serial # are stamped into the machined surface.

Think of this as being stamped on after the assembly is built. It is sometimes easy to read and sometimes faint. It is almost as if some guy was hitting a die with a sledge to put the numbers on.

If you don't see it then keep looking. It's there but you have to get right down to clean metal to see it. And don't use a wire brush or you might wipe it off.

I think most of those numbers shown are casting numbers or possibly date of manufacture.

Found it, just as you described. I make it 3.06 would you agree?
