Changing trans fluid on my 76 280C

Cannot find the capacity including TC.
I am pretty sure my trans is a 722.102.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If you drain the TC as well, capacity will likely be somewhere between 6 and 7 quarts, similar to the 722.3, depending on how much drains out of the valve body and cooler lines.

changed oil to this and my trans is shifting smoother. I can barely feel it engage from gear to gear. FWIW.

I did TC, it refilled with 6+ quarts.

Why did you pick that particular fluid? This job is hanging over my head, but I haven't tackled it yet on my w115. Thanks.

My 1987 300TD wagon was sold and my 2003 W210 E320 wagon was totaled (sheds tear).

This is the oil recommended by trans guru for my 07 S8 (I used it on both S8s). On the Audi forum, It seems that those that are using it are satisfied. I do not own Audi's now but I figured why not? If it can deal with a trans that was taking about 480+HP worth of V10 abuse, why not?
