Timing chain on a 110 motor (76 280C)
I think it's time. My car is 42 years old and I think it's time to perform this as a preventive measure.
What do I need to get besides timing chain, guide rails, tensioners? What is a woodruff key and what does it do. I saw a write up for a 117, it should be very similar the procedure on my motor, yes? Tips and know-hows will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Before getting carried away, measure chain stretch and analyze the condition of the chain. Replacing it based on age is wasteful and expensive. Only replace it if it needs it.
