108 window seal SAN DIEGO
I've let it go long enough! Now my front window seal is literally rejecting the chrome trim piece. Does anyone have a good source for a quality replacement seal? Also, does anyone have a recommendation for a good glass guy in San Diego who can successfully carry out this replacement. Thanks guys.

1. Use the OEM seal from MB
2. You are right to find a good glass shop. Safelite Autoglass is not going to be able to handle this but they might not know it until it's too late. I found a place in Los Angeles (GTO Auto Glass) but that doesn't really help you unless you want a 2+ hour drive each way. You need to find a place that has some guys who have been doing this for 30+ years - they can do it but new stuff is just different and simple. |
