Wow-congrats-the stickshift is cool-most people nowdays can't even drive one. I looked for a while to find a stick shift 3.5 and that was many years ago.

Try listing it on BaT, I sold my 2003 MINI on there. Listing fee is $75, buyer pays the commission. You can put in a reserve price as well to cover yourself.

BAT's selling fee is $99.00. They approve a reserve, you don't get to set it. You can suggest a reserve, but BAT has final approval on the amount, if any. In some cases they won't accept a reserve.

I would suggest offering it there first, as it's probably the best venue for selling cars like these around. Just be prepared for the comments, as they can be pretty brutal.

If you've had the car for sale elsewhere they often won't list it, as they seem to want the first swing at it in the market.

Congratulations! I am sure you're beyond thrilled. The 108 market is going up at a steady rate. Part of it I think is the Porsche bubble. Hopefully when that pops it doesn't take the other German-market cars with it - but I don't see that happening because although there are some overlapping fans, they really do cater to different markets.
