Fuel hose routing 280se 4.5

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with the soft fuel hose that runs below the power steering pump.

I've had it hit the pump pulley, shortened it and then had it hit the e brake lever. Obviously, not good! Right now it is zip tied out of the way.

What is the -correct- way to do it?

You have a metal line in there?

"T" shaped at the top to be in the fuel injector ring and it snakes down by the water pump.

From there, the fuel line comes out towards the frame rail, below the power steering pump and above the brake cable to meet up with a metal line bolted to the frame rail.

I have metal coming up from the tank, then about 8" of soft line which connects to metal again below the power steering pump.

I'm wondering exactly how to run the soft line to avoid the e-brake lever and power steering pulley.

Looks like you may need to bend the line by the frame rail, so it's closer to the rail (and perhaps lower).
