w114 76 280c 114073 bowden cable
does anyone know , how to adjust a Bowden cable and vacuum modulater valve to reduce shifts problems and fair

What shift problem are you trying to correct? Flaring, late shifts, early shifts, hard shifts?
If you have never mucked about with the lower rod (leading to the transmission) then the rod going across the engine is merely a "touch fit". Adjust the length to where the ball receiver snaps onto the bell crank ball with no tension. Frank R. can probably give you the exact procedure but this method has always worked for me. |

The 722.0/1/2 transmissions do not have a Bowden cable. They do have a control pressure rod. It is suggested that familiarization with the components be a first step. |
Details, details...
I knew what you meant but Frank is correct. It's better to ask the proper question to get the specific answer. |
