W111 Coupe for sale in SF Bay Area on CL
For those who haven't seen this nice coupe in the SF Bay Areahttps://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/d/belmont-1964-mercedes-250-se/7061718845.html
Been texting back and forth with the seller today, so thought I'd post it here in case it strikes someone's fancy. The interior is all wrong, with the cheap carpets, vinyl seats, and headliner(in the wrong color even), but overally, especially as coupes go, it seems really nice. I recently priced interior stuff for mine: World Upholstery and Trim wants $800ish for the velour carpet set, and $1,100ish for the actual (what they are saying is OEM) carpet set, and mid to high $800 for the leather seat upholstery (front and rear, complete). A half hyde is $225 for doing things like parcel shelf, dash, doors, etc. Complete wood prices seem to vary widely with the famous place in Goleta, CA getting about 4 large for their work, and on ebay, what appears to be repro stuff is about half that. Hope someone grabs this car...price is negotiable!

Yes, Madera Concepts. That's who I was thinking of. I just couldn't remember the name when I was typing. I actually spoke to them a few months ago, when inquiring about having the wood done in my coupe, and trying to figure out/decide which type of wood it originally had. Nice people, beautiful work. Would really like to have them do the wood for me at some point.

It's a German model that was imported over, so it's in KM's.
