How does the W114 Heater Control Valve work?
Can someone please explain how the Heater Control Valve work?
I will probably change it to an aftermarket 2 or 3 Port Valve. But, the original's design will govern the choice? Thank You Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk |

Hot H2O from cyl. head into the center, two manual valves control the flow to the heater cores (L&R).
The returns of both cores are joined into a common return that enters the lower radiator hose. |

Zoned climate control in a 1969 car. Amazing.
Thank you very much for your reply. It looks like this isn't a 3 port valves job. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk |
