Which W115 master cylinder?
Hi folks,
I'm looking to replace the Master Cylinder on my 1974 W115 240D. Rock Autos has a number of options. I was wondering if anyone could recommend one of these products over any other? They have: - Cardone Re-manufactured options with or without pressure sensor (without reservoir) - Beck/Arnley - - Centric The Cardone options are half the price of the Beck/Arnley. Certainly more attractive for that reason! Thanks for any thoughts!

Cardone is the main re-builder for almost every aftermarket supplier.
Beck-Arnley is a good brand but if it is a re-built one the odds are that Cardone did the job.

You need to go by chassis number. It appears that no switch/sensor on chassis's numbered up to 102742.

I would go with " Beck/Arnley"
however beware that Rock Auto sells a LOT of old stock Master Cylinders and often you well find the Cylinder is frozen up and you must free it up to make it work at all .. You well discover this when you try to Bench Bleed it before the install . they well replace the cylinder with another one but don't be surprised to discover the same problem with replacement That's why they have good prices the parts are Very old often

Thanks for the info. Would you recommend ordering from elsewhere then? I'm in Canada (although I'm of course happy to pay shipping from the US - what else I can do?
 )Here's my chassis details:  Was trying to figure out things from that but I think I don't speak W115 Chassis   Any ideas? Thanks!

That is the "body" tag. It gives you basic body/options details. You need the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Follow the link I posted to get the VIN OR look at your title for the car.
