W115 /8 220D - Hazard Lights/Main Beam - Not Working
Hello all,
I seem to find myself always posting on here due to issues that have started to arise from my 220D. I have noticed a while back that something peculiar has started to happen; the indicators/blinkers seem to work, however the hazard warning lights do not. I pull the hazard warning light knob and it does not flash and it does not activate the indicators/blinkers. Could this be a fuse or would it be the relay and/or wiring? I have also noticed something a bit odd with the main beam. I can activate them to be permanently on while driving, but when I pull the stalk as if to flash someone it does not work at all. Does anyone know what could potentially case this? Sam |

What model year is the car? Does it have the hazard knob that you pull on the center area near the radio, or does it have a rectangular hazard button that you press located somewhere else?
I'm inclined to say that you have a bad hazard/flasher relay which is one big thing behind the center dash. Did this work correctly before? re: flashing the main beam... did THAT work before? I don't remember my W114 having that feature. |
