W114 Fuel pump lever snapped - 1970 250 Auto
Troubleshooting a fueling issue today and found that my fuel pump lever is broken in the middle. Having some problems quickly locating a replacement 7.15551.50 Pierberg pump. I am considering going electric unless I can find a complete pump or even just the lever from a dead unit to rebuild mine.
I followed some old threads here but no one had a good source and I am not too keen on ordering a generic lever style from Italy or Latvia although the lever design looks more simple and robust. Any leads are appreciated! |

If you go electric, be sure to wire it through an oil pressure switch so the pump shuts off if the engine stalls. You will also need an oil switch bypass when cranking so the pump starts moving fuel.
