Any difference in early and late w108 6cyl motor mounts?

I'm getting ready to drop the 2.8 m130 in the w110 230 im building for a customer. looking at the motor mounts online i see the later square available and the early w110 w111 w108 round ones not or way more expensive with shipping. The subframe and mount arms are identical throughout the w108,109,111,112 m180/130 engine based cars and only the arms are different for the 6 cyl w110. so any difference in the square ones? its the only thing i dont have here to look at! ive got v8 w108 but they are so deflated and hidden i cant really compare anyway. since the car is going to be raced if either are mounting the engine lower i will run them.

I kind of thought that the square mounts were more for V8 cars.

You may be right but they are listed for 6 cyl cars too, 69 and up. Looking at them they seem to be the same dimensions bolt wise. I know the base is the same holes since v8 cars have the same subframe. I'm just wondering about height.

aren't the square ones a W114 thing rather than the W108 cars? -CTH

The w114/107 are similar but smaller. I checked them.
