W114 new replacement headlamp bowls?

Hi all,
My 69 w114 stacklight headlamp bowls (reflectors) are unfit for use. Would anyone know of replacements?

I think I have heard of HELLA mentioned as a source, but I have no part number to ask for.

Regards
U

Do a search for a company called Bilux. They make reproduction units that seem to be priced all over the place. I found them from 110 Euros to 66 Euros.

Yup. Euros. Because I can't find them in the US. But a few companies in Europe and the UK sell them.

Just search for Bilux Mercedes 114 headlight reflectors. Several sources will pop up.

Thank you, will do.

Keep the references coming, all. Our vehicles are coming to an age where this is going to be an issue.

FYI: I purchased it from seller in turkey on fleabay who sells a lot of these hard to find items. I hear mixed reviews, but everytime I've bought from him I have no complaints (just the opposite).

Here is the link for thread, look for my post (Jub) with pics of reflectors: Has anybody bought from ebay seller w114selo ? w114

Jub,
Thank You, that's a good thread. I am concerned about your finding re the Silvering rubbing off. It may not survive the UK weather.

I have a sneaky feeling that HELLA still produces reflectors. If not, at least I know that I should consider resilvering the current bowls locally.

Has anyone looked at installing LED lights behind the reflectors? That is, installing a full LED headlamp, which has no beam correction, so it will be deflected properly when it goes through the original W114 glass?

I think the original reflectors were pretty soft in the chrome. I have tried to polish them and it rubbed right off.
