Horrible Crime in Progress!
Notice the dirt, leaves and damp. It has been raining and this car is NOT above the salt water fog level. If anyone is inclined to make an offer, this address is on Escalona Drive in Santa Cruz, California. The zip is 95060.

Do you have the owner's contact info?

No, I just saw it sitting there. The only info I have is the house number in the photo and the rest of the address in the post. You could write a letter.

Trunk must be leaking, thereby the plastic cover tied across it.

Horrible Crime in Progress!
I wonder what’s in the garages. They can’t find a way to squeeze that inside? So sad.
How much do you guys plan to offer. Looks like it’s got a sunroof. Sad that I’m tapped out. I would so much love to have a w111/112 coupe (or a w109). At this time my wife would seriously kill me if I bought another, even if it was a wise investment. Edit: this guy knows what he’s got. Here’s an older shot of the address. It’s not going to be an old lady who just wants it gone.

These are expensive cars to refurbish/restore-it will be a parts car soon. Hope it has not gone too far. Outside in a coastal environment is a bad place for sure.

Is there a better way to figure this out without posting the person's address. Most people would not be happy if a person took photos of their house then posted it for the world to see.
Deleteing the thread maybe the best thing.

Is this a Google street view shot? From the perspective it is higher than a drive by. I think I see the car with a cover on it in the background in the same place. I guess he needed the cover for something else.

No expectation of privacy exists for something that is in open view from public roadway. If the owner doesn't care, why should you?

You do realize that everyone house view is on the internet already with Google Street view?

I took the photo from the street. The car is in front of the house, in the driveway, in full view.

Whatever, I said it. I dont know anyone who uses google view to search for classic cars for sale. Plus you need a physical address for that and that was not available until now. Maybe I'll contact him and tell him he has lurkers. Common courtesy goes a long way.

Yes, no laws were broken. Has there been unwanted attention to this person's home that would not have been otherwise?
