W108 column shift switch issues

1970 W108.018 Column shift 4 speed manual. All bushings have been replaced. When shifting from 1st to 2nd the reverse lights blink on. A technician attempted to fix but reverse lights still flash when shifting from 1st to 2nd. BUT now occasionally I have to be in the reverse gear gate to get the car to crank.

Does anyone have the diagram and instructions for setting up and adjusting the reverse light switch, the starting lockout switch and the 3rd/4th gear switch? Remember this is for a column shift.
