Wiring kit for W108 on eBay

Hi, I just saw this Wiring kit for w108. Has anyone purchased this one?
Any thoughts?

What did you need to rewire? This looks like a body wiring replacement (and not custom for 108s but generic DIY). IE: It doesn't appear to be enough to replace the D-Jet harness and the body harness, just the body.

Those kits will require much work to fit w108

Dear Adv-rider

That kit will require much much work. I once bought that kit and have it here on the box “to do wire harness” and in 12 months I have not touched it.

I do restore wiring harness for Mercedes benz as a hobby on a continued base and sell them trough eBay once are in mint condition.

Is faster to refurbish a original mercedes wiring harness than to trim this generic wiring harness sold on eBay.

In my experience, do not run your car with that old harness. Service it before. Specially the charging loom, the cables in that section have a cotton/resin cover that is always cracked and therefore as T30 lines are always energized when battery is connected is a potential fire hazard. Do your homework.

Best regards

That looks just scary. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
