Driveshaft Center bearing cushions
Before I start digging for answers I thought I would run this by. The center bearing cushions are eccentric or thicker on one side so depending on how they are installed will move the driveshaft position up or down a small amount. Is this to establish the correct driveline angle?
Edit-it looks like the are available round or eccentric so it must be for setting driveline angle.

On my car 250S the fat part goes on the bottom. Different models use the round vs offfset ones.

They can be installed 2 ways. I will check the manual.
Edit-the illustration in the manual shows the thick part down but does not specifically detail it.
