72 280 SE Cutting off
Hi have a 72 280SE M130 6 cylinder engine. Starts up fine. When warm and in gear keeps on cutting off. It will start back up in Park. I put back in gear dies again!!! Confused. Thanks

have you checked timing and adjusted RPM for correct idle ?

the rpm is set way too high and have not checked the timing.

High idle and stalling under load are symptoms of a vacuum leak. Try disconnecting and plugging the brake booster. Inspect the boots/seals around the air intake.
Is this problem new? Sudden onset? When it stalls is it a stumbling or a sudden abrupt shut-off? How do the plugs look? Could you post pics of a few? Good luck!!!
