W115 Interior Colors
Hello,
I have a 1972 W115 (220D) with a tan/beige interior color. I need to replace some interior items but want to make sure that there are not any other shades of tan that they offered. I believe red, black, blue, ivory/white are some common colors. Picture attached of one of my door panels. Thanks. Sam |

Try this site for a selection of the vinyl colors. Good luck. It seems as though every site has a different idea/name for the vinyl.

Not sure if its bamboo or cognac. Is there a number/code on the build card that would reveal the interior color?

If you have the build sheet then the interior color will be in block#8. My coupe's original color is 140-Cognac mbtex.
Most of the time an extra build card is attached to either the rear seat bottom or to the back of the rear upright seat back. I've also found them under the front seats and inside the center console. Here's an example: Not for my car and obviously not for a /8 but it gives you an idea of what you are looking for.

Here are two door pockets from W115 cars, Cognac on Left, Bamboo on the right:
If we can believe the colors we see with our monitors I'd say you have a Cognac interior. What color is the car's exterior paint?
