Hi all,


Well it took a global pandemic for me to get back to my old Mercedes and buy another project.


I have a 1966 230S, 1967 250SE Coupe, 1969 280SEL. The new project is a 1972 250C - she is a problem child, seized (sabotaged?) engine. A replacement engine is on the way. More on this in a later post.

I live in Hermosa Beach, CA. The 250C in in Hermosa. The others are at my parents house in Paso Robles.

I used to drive through Paso Robles in my travels to the area with work. A lot of miles up and down I5 and 101. Fog was terrible in winter. I remember once I got off the freeway to get gas and could not find my way back on.
