W460 G Wagen on Oodle?
Hey all,
I've been looking at getting an early w460 G Wagen for some time now, and have found a few on the website Oodle of all places. Is this website legit? Almost feels like a giant scam to me. They also have the largest selection of w460s of any website I've seen, and they're priced from 12-20k depending on condition. Any help would be appreciated. |

I quick visit and drilling down to used cars shows me lots of things. I grabbed one at random, a green 65 mustang. I copied the description of the car into a google search and got at least 10 web sites showing the same car.
This site, like all others others is just scraping other peoples ads and showing them as their own. Why? Because the pages are awash in ads and somebody's getting the ad revenue. I wouldn't bother with it. Some of the worst sites like this don't bother to take down their scraped ads after the originals are long gone. -CTH |

I got carried away and responded to one of the ads, then did what cth350 did, same results. Oddly a week or so later I got an email about the ad from the "seller" and it had all the red flags of a scam - location change, seller overseas, super ready to do the deal. etc.
