Uni-Syn makes a good unit also. You still need to make/buy an adapter for the carb. A discarded margarine tub or its ilk does the trick.

Glad to hear it runs!

Dialing in the carb will make a big difference. The carb should be last in the sequence of adjustments. Adjust the valve clearance, point gap/dwell (if applicable), ignition timing and lastly the carb.

When set-up well those engines ran really well.

Scooter-yes was thinking about getting one. Haven’t looked on Amazon yet or eBay but Pierce Manifolds and Redline sell them for $85 with adapter still have tax I think and shipping.

Mike- I have Braden’s Weber Book. Supposed to be good. Will find out in the next couple of weeks.

SB-I bought a bottle of the ‘Mechanic in a bottle’ to throw into my makeshift tank.

I will be using this thread to figure out the tuning process-so stick around please!! Lol Thanks for the help!!!
