68 250SE dash vents
We are re-chroming the interior of our car. Does anyone know how to get the vanes out of the dash vents. I cannot get the pin depressed far enough to remove them.

Are you planning on chroming the center (X section) of the vent? Mine are black on my '68 250SE. Or are you talking about the ring surround? I have my dash out right now having the wood restored, so my vents are out for inspection if necessary.
