I removed a Distributor from my 1968 Mercedes 250S as a test into my 1967 250S and it ran great / I confirmed that indeed the Distributor
is a 1968 250S Unit: The # is JFUR6 0 2131 116 .052
So we have

250S would have a JFUR6 (0 231 116 037) < I think this may be 1967 ?

250SE (0 231 116 047) ( not sure what year & series on this one)
JFUR6, for 230/230S (0 231 116 048 )

250S JFUR6 0 2131 116 .052 from my 1968 250S

SO

037
047 ( an SE Dist )

048
052 I think all these interchange and will work except 047
