1973 W114 280 Shift Rod Bushing
Need help identifying the missing bushing on front end of shift rod for a ‘73 280 sedan with automatic transmission on column. Bushing is missing from shifter rod yoke (17mm x 9mm inside diameter). Anyone know MB part number or name for this particular bushing? Is it the same bushing as other end of rod? I was hoping to replace the bushing, not linkage rod end.

you can buy them brand new / most people buy the metal rod end with the bushing ( neoprene ) already installed in it
Stick Shift , auto trans all the same ( if you buy just the neoprene insert they can be fun to install ) if you look around on the net they are not costly https://www.*********.com/gbproducts/WC/16127-01381576.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_content=YN&utm_campaign=*********+Google+Base&utm_term=1968-1973%2C+1988-1991+Mercedes+300SEL+Automatic+Transmission+Shift+Linkage+Bushing+Febi+68-73%2C+88-91+1972&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_campaign=*********+Google+Basecid=6774379819&aid=79287199093&keyword=302307008361%3A%3Apla-302307008361&kid=302307008361&gclid=CjwKCAjwqauVBhBGEiwAXOepkZ4YQOXInHC5jeUZRNJI1QWz6m5V8irQueo4JR4LGI0XZuoRtadPIhoCBOEQAvD_BwE |
