Transmission crush rings

1971 MB 250C

In the Mercedes Transmission Svc. Kit, there were 3 crush rings.

The MB kit # was A 115 270 03 98

(2) measure .780" or 19.8 mm
(1) measures .519" or 13.18 mm

I knew there would be two crush rings, one for the pan drain and one for the torque converter, but what is the third one for?
Is it a spare?

Thanks.. Gary

Ok. Two large rings seal the banjo coming to the pan which is also the drain. The small must be the torque converter drain.
Sorry, answered my own question.
